One of "those" days

I took this picture of my dear friends baby last month. She was starting to eat a leaf and I "gently" told her "no-no" (seriously!! I wasn't an ogre or anything!)

She is looking off into the yard to find her mommy's eyes.

She cried for 10 minutes. Until I gave her a popsicle.

Friday "Show & Tell"

Yes, only 11 hours after taking my shoes off, Charlotte made herself a home.


First, I screamed like a girl (imagine that).

Then I took some pictures (which causes me to whimper slightly).

Then I grabbed the best spider fighting tool I can think of (no, not Aquanet) the all powerful sucker upper...the vacuum!

It didn't have a chance.

So remember two things:

1. Everyone needs encouragement.
2. Always check your shoes before you put your feet into them.

Fall Days

Internet. I have been busy. Too busy.

I have been so busy that my head has been spinning and the bloggie has been moved to the back burner (along with things like taking a shower, folding laundry, and caring what my hair looks like. Yeah...don't stand too close).

I knew the schedule would be tough...but I will admit it...I am not super woman (shhhhh...don't tell my "hunk o' burning love"...I like being his superhero).

Last weekend, I was able to sneak an entire day to spend with my sweet and my lovelies.


Olive had a little lamb.


Ella Bella's lamb was a hungry little man.


Lilly took a "sunflower shower".


The crazy boy took one too.


We found the "perfect" pumpkins.


Some were small.


Some were tall.



But the day.
That glorious fall day...

was "just right".

It turns out, the "cafe" was closed when I arrived.
